Revit 2010 to Max Design 2010 .fbx issue

Hi everybody,

First post / long time lurker.

I've come across a problem with fbx files from Revit I can't figure out>

I'm using the latest version of the fbx converter in max but;

Whenever I import a Revit model via .fbx to max design the windows and doors are solid objects, I can't select the glass seperate from the window frame.

I am aware that I can 1. model new windows in max 2. Import the windows seprately by merging a fbx to another or 3. Create multi sub object material for the glass.

Am i missing somthing here or is this a known issue?

Bummer. Unless there's something simple that you are missing, it could be one of the three options you spelled out. Do you plan to animate the doors at all? That may make the decision easier...

I posted the same question over on The Area in the FBX section and the said that theres nothing i can do unless I want to get Max 2011.
