Airport Airspace Analysis

Does anyone have experience with airport obstruction analysis (Part 77) and lidar data? I'm using Civil 3D 2011. I need to display the 2D area and the amount of penetration of obstructions (trees, ground, buildings). Is there a way to color code the penetration height (1'-10' is red and 11'-20' is blue)?
