Question Add detail / sheet number to door schedule?

    I am using Revit 2010.
(I have a feeling this cannot be done, but I will give it a shot.)
I am trying to add sheet and detail number info onto a door schedule. Is this possible?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but one way is to:

Add a project parameter (Manage tab) for each thing (i.e. Head, Jamb, Threshold, etc) you need to show on your schedule as a "Text" type of parameter and check "Doors" for the category.

After that, the fields will be available in all of your door properties and you can input them in. If you set up your schedule w/ the parameter in it, you can input all of the information in like it's a spreadsheet.

It is not possible in an automated manner. However, this is exactly what Key schedules are for. I create three different key schedules to do a door schedule.
    1) Door Type (elevational, door material, finish, rating, door glazing)
    2) Frame Type (elevational, frame material, finish, Frame glazing, if any)
    3) Door Details (Head, Jamb, Sill, if any details)

Then, in each door you have three things to "select" from a pull-down, and the door will be scheduled, except for Hardware and door remarks columns.

Door types lines would be named something like, "HM Narrow Lite Rated 1 HR" or "WD No Lite"; these are what a project team member would be selecting from to schedule approximately 5 to 6 columns in a door schedule.

The great thing about key schedules, is once applied to a door, if you edit what is in the "columns" of the Key schedule, then every door that item had been applied to is updated with one edit.
