    Default Mtext Problem

    Hi All,

Just ln annoying problem with mtext in some (not all) drawings.

I am using Autocad 2010. I have mtect rotated slightly rotated (115 degrees) so it is horizontal in a rotated viewport. I double click on it to edit it and the text reverts to horizontal. When I finish editing it goes back to 115 degrees.

It only happens in certain drawings, I have check all the settings I know but can't see to fix it.

    Cheers

    Dave

You said when you're EDITING IT the MTEXT flips to horizontal and then flips back to the way you want it after the edit... right? Isn't that what's suppose to happen when you edit MTEXT? I thought there was some sort of an angle threshold with MTEXT whereas when you click on MTEXT that's upside down (or something similar) it flips to horizontal for editing purposes and then returns back to it's original rotation after edit. I'm I wrong? You reference a viewport so is it rotating to the 0 angle inside the viewport? is that not normal?

Although, I'm kicking it with AutoCAD 2007 over here so I'm practically bangin' two rocks together.
