    lighting is a pain to get right.

    That water texture is insane, is this all in strait AutoCAD?

    yeah, Acad 2011.

    I do love the water, but I am finding that if it is more of a top down, you almost cannot see it, so I keep to angles.

    clients really love it.

    Can you explain how you are able to do the water surfaces?

    Autocad 2011.

    normally I make a prim of a cylinder or box usally 1/512" thick or just make a planar surface add in the water texture - which comes with Acad 2011.

    change my view to get what I want, and hit render.

    Normally I use Medium or High,
    Render Quality 5
    1024 x 768, or 1600 x 1200 resolution.

    I don't do anything special.
