    Default Diameter symbol.

The diameter symbol preceding an .idw dimension has changed from the correct symbol to 'n' and I cannot find the reason or how to change it back. How can I tell which dimensioning standard is selected in the editor anyway?

I've managed to answer my own Q, with aid of earlier threads found in //forums.autodesk.com
I failed to state I am using IV2008 and the problem seems to have been prevalent after release but mine coincided with installing SP3 this week. Since then all .idw's previously saved ok, opened with 'n' instead of Ø.
I found the AIGDT_.TTF & AMGDT_.TTF files that were missing from the Win Font directory & apparently necessary for Ø, on the IV installation dvd (n°2) in mdt\Windows\Fonts\Redist\ and with Explorer, pasted them in the Win Fonts. Immediate success! Perhaps will help someone else?
