Question line and text plots with a shadow

    Please help.
After a windows update my autocad file started plotting with a shadow image on some text and double lines ( the second another shadow) for some linetypes. I have never had this problem before. After much searching I discovered that I could get rid of some of the double lines by going into the mline settings, a couple of linetypes showed offset values and I changed these to zero. However there are still some lines that show as a double line when plotted. Some are plines and some are not and I can't find any way to fix the text.
Clearly Windows changed some setting somewhere but I've ran out of ideas as to where to look.

    I'd suspect a plotter/plotter driver problem.
Have you tried sending data from a different application? Even Word or Paint might show if there is such a problem.
