ACAD MEP 2011 pipes not showing in Navis 2011

I got a MEP 2011 file from a contractor and am not able to get pipes to show in navisworks. Pipes show as 3D objects in ACAD, they show as lines in Navisworks. Any suggestions?

Style Manager>Piping Objects>Pipe System Definitions - Select each pipe system definition, go to the Single Line Graphics tab and deselect both check boxes. Save the MEP file and refresh in Navisworks.

The above only applies to Piping objects. I've never seen a method to display Plumbing pipe objects as 3D in Navisworks.
