Thumbs up Where are my 'help menus?

Ok, I recently got upgraded to Revit Structure and AutoCAD (structural detailing) 2011 (woohoo).

Using AutoCAD right now and I wanted to look something up in 'help, got nothing. I went into preferences and tried to "browse" to a location in the help folder, (looking for HTML?) Nothing seems to work.

Does anyone know how to get at my 'help files? I suspect I need to pick the correct HTML file in the C:\program files\autodesk\autocad structural detailing 2011\help\

    Thanks.

Note: The CHM search will not work in 64-bit Windows 7.

not to counter what Autodesk says, but, what doesnt work with the search? I'm running Windows 7 64 bit and when I search for "Pline" I get results.

    With the downloaded CHM files?
Its strange that they admit something doesn't work - even more strange if it does.

I believe it was downloaded. I dont know where I would have gotten it from otherwise.

Thanks guys, I downloaded (and unzipped) the CHM files as explained in the Autodesk Service and Support that Robert kindly linked to.

When I select the acad.181 file as suggested, I get the help menu but won't browse the internet.

In other words, I can select "Context", and "Index ", but nothing gets diplayed in the right panel. It says: "Navigation to the webpage was canceled"

    Something else I'm missing?
PS I'm running Windows XP Professional X64 Edition

I believe it has to be on your local computer to function.

Just an update, I figured it out.
I needed to go into (double click) each of the supporting "chm" files where it asks "do you want to open this file?" and uncheck "always ask me for this file"

After I did that, all the content seems to show up.

Thanks ccowgill for the advice (to look into my own settings)
