    Default redefining mvparts blocks

I have a lighting plan that I created with custom MVPARTS of lights, since this plan was done I've gone and Updated the top block to mimick our old 2d symbology but when I insert from pallette the drawing still uses the old definitions and shows the old 2d top block. If in new drawing 2d top view is fine. Is there a way to fix so I don't have to re-insert all my lighting and then readd all the property set definitions already applied in my old layout? Am using Autocad MEP2011.

Assuming that you used the same block name for the new block, WBLOCK the "new" top view block out to a separate file and use the INSERT command to redefine the block in a drawing that still displays the old block. Or, use DesignCenter to redefine the block from a file that has the new one.
