Default migrating to 64 bit from 32

I expect to be upgrading to a new machine and wish to install RAC 2011 64 bit. I am currently operating the 32 bit version on a single stand-alone license on subscription. I will need to do some work right away on the new machine and will not be able to survive with much downtime on licensing etc. Does anyone have any experience with this scenario? Am I likely to encounter problems?
    Thanks

When you do an instillation you have 30 days to activate it anyways. I would suggest simply installing it and then trying to activate it online. If you have hassles with that send it off to your reseller or to autodesk activations.

We have resently upgraded to 64 bit and didn't run into any licensing issues. We have network licenses but we didn't have to change the way we were installing Revit just because we were installing a 64 bit version.

Thanks for the replies. I think I am just getting jaded with these things.

You should have no issues going between x86 and x64 with your files or the licenses. But if you do, here is the number for Autodesk: 800-551-1490. We have upgraded over 400 computers to windows 7 x64 in the last few months without an issue.

Revit-wise you will be fine going to 64 bit, and Windows 7 64.

Just watch out for drivers and such for printers and other peripheral devices--
sometimes there are problems when going from 32 to 64 bit drivers.

    cheers
