    Default linetype display in modelspace

    afternoon all,

    im betting this is a simple question.

    how do i get my linetypes in modelspace to display as if they were in paperspace layout.

    surely theres a switch somewhere that i cant find.

    Type "msltscale" and chnge to 1.

    Ok I tried that and regen but it hasn't changed anything.

    Check the global LTSCALE, the object LTSCALE, and the current annotation scale. Sometimes a modelspace drawing will have a global LTSCALE at a large value which will invalidate the annotation scale value, or vice versa, or with the object LTSCALE instead, or...

    And of course you have to set the MS's scale to the same as the MS inside the VP on PS. I.e. if your viewport is set to 1:100, set the MS CAnnoScale (the drop-down in the status bar on the right) to 1:100 as well.

    As posted eailer make sure the Anotation Scale matches tha of the viewport that you want it to look like first. Enter LWEIGHT to access the lineweight settings. Use the scroller to Adjust the Display Scale.

    yeah it was the annotation scale that was out.
