Join geometry

Guys,

I need some help with the image attached.

Im doing a structural frame around my floor plan and I want to join both sides of the floor plan in a 45 degrees angle.

How can I do it? Already tried a in-place family but it doesnt wor, it joins but it doesnt cut in the 45 degree angle.

Tried beams, same problem.

Anyone?

Could you use the "Floor" > "Slab Edge" Tool ?

Yes I could but it would work with it on the bottom and top of each slab?

Without knowing the full extent of what you are trying accomplish.

Could you create a sweep with the appropriate profile?

You can add a "Slab Edge" to both the top and the bottom of each slab (Pick the edges from a 3D view)
You even get the arrow controls to flip the profile as needed
