Default Working with Mechanical Desktop 2004DX and VIZ

I am starting to use Autodesk VIZ, having worked through some of the tutorials. I have a parametric assembly that was created in Mechanical Desktop 2004DX. The tutorials I've seen don't really tell me much about working with Desktop files in Viz. Is there anything special I need to do to the file before improting it into Viz?

Since you aren't getting much feedback from users at this forum, check out www.vizdepot.com. They have a very active Viz/Max community there. I know there are several members that use Inventor models with Viz, and I'm sure there are some MDT users. Membership is free - you could sign up and post a question there.
