    Hi Vijay,

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the New User - Non Technical forum to this one as I feel it will be better served in this location.

Some see the glass as half full, others as half empty. As an engineer I see the glass as twice as big as it needs to be. ~Unknown~

It might be helpful to post the product and version you are using. You can find this information by going to help and clicking "About"

Additionally, you may want to run a repair on your AutoCAD installation and check with the AutoCAD website for the latest service patch.

Does it happen on all DWG's or just some? Maybe the files are corrupt, you could try to recover them. And if it's a 2008 version (maybe also for some newer) it could be due to the Scale List problems which plagued ACad a year or so ago. If such you could fix this by installing the latest service pack and running a small utility CleanupScales (freely available from AutoDesk) to clean the numerous scales in the DWG's.

That looks like a corrupted LSP file to me.

Do you, or your CAD Manager, create or modify LSP files? Have you added any 3rd party software for AutoCAD recently?

This might be difficult to troubleshoot if you haven't written any LISP code.

The first thing you can do is copy-and-paste in a post everything from the text window when you first start AutoCAD.
