Question Desktop For Autocad Arc. 2010 ?

i have decided to put in a design department in my office. We will be designing drawings for different Fire Sprinklers, Fire Alarms, Fire Suppression & Hood & Duct and we will be expanding as projects arouse. I am not sure on what type of computer or where to invest my money in a matter that i wont spend it wrong. I can go to the local Best Buy and pick up the most expensive desktop and it not fit my requirements for such business. I am looking on buying a complete set-up. 30" Screen & a powerful machine. Suggestions Needed Please!!

Well, it is the weekend and most people come in here during their working time.
I'm sure there will be suggestions on Monday.

Your best bet would probably be to go to Autodesk's website and find the software package you want. Then click on the System Requirements. Print it out and take it to where you are buying your computer (or call one of the mail order computer manufacturers) and have them give you a computer that at the very least meet those specifications.

But you may want to plan for the future as well and purchase machines that exceed the minimum requirements, ie. If it calls for 3GB ram, you might want to go for 6GB.
