Default Best Practice for Copying Rooms from Arch Model

Greetings, I am trying to match up the room names in our MEP model with the ones in the Architect's model. Up til now, I have been copying the rooms and room tags from the Arch model, then pasting into current view in the MEP model. For most of the rooms, it shows up correctly, but for some the rooms and room tags are both hidden, yet they show up when i create a room schedule. I am totally aware that this is not the proper way to do this, but I don't know how else to do it. What is the best practice to coordinate rooms and room names correctly?

Also, I have heard of the Space Naming Utility that is available on subscription, but I have been told that it is only available for MEP 2011, and we are currently stuck using 2010 unfortunately.

Any advice/insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

There is a version of the space naming utility on the subscription center that will also work for 2009 / 2010 versions of Revit MEP.
You should be able to download it from the same location as the 2011 version.
