    Default Dimension issue...

The problems started after opening a chinese DWG...

Ok, I draw up some circles and some rectangles on model space.

then I dimension them in paper space. the dimensions are off by alot

I have 2 dimension styles one for model and one for paper. - mainly text size change.
they both read exactly the same when both are on paper or model.

everything I can find reads scale 1:1 I can't find anything that would make all the dimensions on paper wrong.

for this project, I am drawing in standard, then dimensioning in metric. it does not matter if I dimension in standard or metric, the error is still there.

I've checked properties on the viewport, deleted it, redid it... started a new drawing... nothing works.

    any suggestions?

    P.S.
the amount that the dimension is off changes with the viewscale.... this is the first time this has ever happened for me... annotation scale is 1:1, standard scale is custom and it will not let me modify that. i change it to 1:1 and then it reverts to custom.

    dimension properties.
Dim scale linear in the primary units tab, does not change when the viewport zoom is changed.

i have not changed anything, but all of a sudden, this happens.

Options - profiles - reset does not work either.

I know it's been a while but this post came up searching with a similar problem

In my case the plan (top) view was slightly off and was giving a dimension error - reverting back to true top view solved the problem

    Hope this helps (someone)
