Default Inventor suite 2010 Network License via VPN

I have a 3 license networked installation of Inventor Suite 2010 (Inventor & AutoCad Mechanical) at work. Only the license manager is installed on the server (Microsoft Server 2003). The Suite's are installed on individual PCs (all XP Pro, 32 bit).

I want to install the Suite on my home PC (Windows 7, 64 bit) and access the license off the server at work via VPN. I have a fast cable internet connection. (Yes, I'm aware that I can "borrow" the license, but that process is just plain silly and annoying.) I want to set it up once and have it work all the time. If I'm not there at work using the license, then there is a license available for me to use at home.

Is there any reason this will not work?
Any first hand experience - advice - insight appreciated.

Just a follow-up, since apparently no one seems to have any firsthand info on this. I have it all setup as described above and it works perfectly.
