globe link problems

hi everybody,

globe link does not work properly. maybe somebody can help.

1. publish to GE causes an error message: "you must have google earth installed..."
2. when exporting to kmz and opening in GE: position AND scale is wrong !! (the model is slightly bigger)
3. the geometry has several errors. some elements are positioned wrong and some parts of the geometry are missing


i have rac 2011 working on xp32 with german settings.

I was hoping to find a solution to this myself.

Considering purchasing the Avatech Utilites for Revit for the use of their Earth Connector utility among all the rest.

Anyone have luck with this?

Your GE Version may be too new / not compatible with the Globe Link you installed.

If anybody knows a solution to 2. and 3. please post. I got the same issues. Especially 2. is bugging.

2. is solved for my part:
click on image, ungroup, scale, type in 0.90909090 as numeric scale factor,
click the centre of the image as scalereference.
After following these steps I had the right image to work on
