Copy wall type from link file to Revit Mep fro load calcs

Can any one help me to copy all the wall, windows and doors from architect linked file to revit mep because when i was trying to do load cals all the walls, windows and doors are the default system is coming and i need 'U' Values for the load calcs

The load calc within Revit MEP work using spaces in the MEP model not the walls / doors / windows of the arch model. You will need to create spaces based on the linked architectural geometry. First step is to select the arch model, goto the type properties and check the room bounding property.

Once you have created ALL of the space geometry in the model to accurately represent the volume of the building (this will take a long time) you will be able to run heating and cooling calcs or export the gbXML data for import into other software.

You can not at this stage get U values from the architectural model, you have to set this via the spaces. You have a building default construction or a space override. I hope that helps get you started.
