Question Newbie asks: ISO3098b Text Font

Hi , I'm new to IV2011 (inventor in general)

I'm about to create new drawings sheets, text styles etc for our company drawings.

As a standard text we use ISO3098b or lately iso3098i, does anyone else use this text style and have any issues with it?

In AutoCAD Ø, ° ect are not supported in DT text and the symbols are only supported in Mt text when the ISO3098b font is activated with a big font (special).

Does anyone experience this using this font in IV or have a work around for it?

    regards

    Wayne

I'm not familiar with that particular font, so I have to say I'm speculating a bit. But Inventor uses True Type fonts to generate it's fonts.

If the font your using ought to work if it's True Type. At worst, hitting the diameter symbol in the text box calls up the AIGDT font, which contains the diameter symbol.

Sorry for the speculative nature of the reply. Hope this info helps!
