    Default Inventor 2011 check out

I am having difficulty with checking files out of vault in Inventor 2011. In prior versions I would check out the .idw file and it would check out all associated .iam, .ipt etc. files. I have found that I have to individually place a check next to the files I want. I do toggle to include children in the check out process.

    Any ideas?

It sounds like the default behaviour in Vault Explorer 2011. Instead of using Vault Explorer, if you go to inventor, open from vault, and use the vault tab of your browser bar, it will allow you to check out all files like you are asking.

This is the process I use to check out files. I was thinking it's a setting I don't have set correctly but have been unable to find it.

I don't know of a way to make Vault check out all all the time, but if you're opening from Vault (in Inventor), you can choose check out all from the open menu.

If you're checking out from Vault Explorer, right clicking gives you the option to 'Check All' at that menu.

    Hope this helps!
