Default Has anyone gone from Quadro to ATI Radeon HD cards?

While performance seems quite good on my new machine with an ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB graphics card, the antialiasing in Revit appears worse than it did before on the same monitor, with my old machine running a Quadro FX 580 512MB graphics card.

I'm talking about the antialiasing in normal 2D views (Revit's antialiasing setting only applies to 3D views). So objects, detail items, text leaders, etc. at angles tend to look more jagged on this same monitor with my new system than it did with my old system.

I have the ATI Catalyst control center installed, but I don't see any options for antialiasing in there. Thoughts?

*edit* it also appears that there is NO anti-aliasing happening in my 3D views, despite the option being enabled in Revit options.

I´m using the same card, as you know, and in fact there is some features in the ATI Catalyst CC to adjust the antialiasing - But, no matter what settings i´ve tried, there is no visible change in Revit....

Am getting tired of the 5770 and will probably replace it with a GTX460 as recomended by Collins...

the gtx 460 seems to be the card to use...
its a killer @ just under $200 (for the 1gb version) for revit, compared to the rather exorbitant pricing of quadro of days gone past

Not quite in the same league, but i have an nvidia geforce 9600gt (512mb) in my pc, and an ATI HD3470 (512mb) in my laptop, both computers running similar cpu's and the same amount (4gb ddr2) of ram. The nvidia card is miles ahead in the anti-aliasing department - 2d and 3d. I can concur with Munkholm, you might try the ATI catalyst CC software to improve anti-aliasing, it improves things on mine, but perhaps that's because i'm using a lower spec card (those settings are in there somewhere but the ATI software is not very intuitive)...or go back to nvidia!
