Default Avoiding the AutoCAD first use setup delay

We have users logging into 'travel' laptops and their first time login forces autocad to 'initialize'. They could potentially be in another country and that makes it hard for us to help configure their machines.

Is there a way to tweak the Default User profile to already have AutoCAD loaded and using the correct acad profile?

How do others get around this issue?

In theory, you should be able to take a windows profile where AutoCAD has already been run, and make it the "Default User" profile - but I have never tried this.

I say in theory, because we use this method to set some things for new users on the domain. IOW, there is a "Default User" profile sitting on \\DomainController\NetLogon which windows will use instead of the local profile for a new user.

I am going to give that a try. I know I used the network default profile before, so I'm sure my memory will be jogged once I get into it. Thanks.
