Hi there.
Can someone share on how they experiencing the workflow between Revit 2011 and Impression 3. I seem to be having many teething problems with the process of getting good results… Wrong scales, wrong lineweights etc. etc.
Thanks,
Craig

Hi again.
Possibly it may help at this stage to explain my process/workflow so far...
From Revit I export to DWG.
As there is no longer an Export to Impression option in AutoCad 2011 there is no point in going into AutoCad 2011 at this stage.
What I do, do however is take the PCP file created with the exported DWG and use it in AutoCad to create a CTB for the DWG.
I then in Impression go to document setup and set the document up to be identical to my Revit Sheet.
I then import the DWG file into Impression using the DWG Import Wizard
Straight away I am faced with some problems...
1) Scale is wrong I need to go and manually edit the scale in the layers dialog.
2) As soon as I apply a Global Stoke to the drawing all dotted / dashed lines become solid.
Possibly someone else has had similar problems with workflow between Revit and Impressions who could shed some light on the subject! Simply all I am wanting to do is this... Take a plan from revit into Impression and give it a sketchy look, while still retaining scale / line weights / and line patterns as per my revit drawing.
Any ideas?
Craig
