    Smile Current Tablestyle

    Hi

    Hope someone can help which I believe to be a simple task .

    Using VBA in Autocad i need to do the following:

    1.Give value for the active tablestyle

    2.Change the active tablestyle to a string

    3. Return to previous active tablestyle.

    From what I found so far the tablestyles are hidden in dictionaries but I can't figure the above out !?

    Cheers

    Steve.

    Default Re: Current Tablestyle

    Have found it, in case anyone else needs it

    1.Give value for the active tablestyle

    Code:
    Dim CurrentTableStyle As String
    CurrentTable = thisdrawing.getvariable("ctablestyle")
    2.Change the active tablestyle to a string
    Code:
    Dim NewTableName as string
    NewTableName = "NEWTABLE"
    ThisDrawing.SetVariable ("ctablestyle"), NewTableName
    3. Return to previous active tablestyle
    Code:
    ThisDrawing.SetVariable ("ctablestyle"), CurrentTable
