    Angry STB covert to CTB

Can someone please jog my memory. When I need to convert a dwg file so when it plots it looks for a ctb pen table. I usually type in CONVERPSTYLES and then says yes.

But sometimes (and I don't know why) it opens a dialogue box and wants to find a stb file to convert with.

    Anybody know why?

Check your spelling. Convertpstyles should work, unless there's something specific to ADT.

OK, my spelling was wrong. It just wont convert, it's looking for another stb file to open?

Let me get this straight, you have a drawing that you need to plot using a CTB file but it's looking for an STB file?

Or vice-versa? (You have a file looking for a ctb file but you need an stb?)

convertpstyles works both ways, but if you're going from CTB to STB, you need an STB to assign it to. Do you have one you need to use?

If you need to create one you can use the command "convertctb" to create an STB file based on the CTB file you're using (or one you choose).

I'm pretty sure that's the way it works.

So to recap, if your switching from CTB to STB and you don't have a desired STB file:
Use the command: "convertctb" and create your STB file.
Then use the "convertpstyles" command and select your newly created STB file.
