Default ****Huge Request** visibility settings for profiles

When creating a profile it would be extremely useful to be able to create a simple profile visible in coarse scale, and a detailed profile visible in fine. We are placing crown moldings, chair rails, etc these all have many "bumps and grinds" and show up as nasty black lines at small scale elevations. It also creates regen issues with revit having to hide all those lines in say a reflected ceiling plan with 30+ coffers each with 3 or 4 various trim sweeps.

    Scott, I agree.

I’ve been creating some restaurant counters using in place familes. I use a squared-off flat extrusion in coarse scale, and a more detailed edge profile (sweep) for medium and fine. Using object styles to control visibility.

So in your solution you basically have to duplicate every sweep in the project? That may be feasable on a small project, but not the scale I'm dealing with.
