Default Xref/Table error message when updated

    Hi everyone,
I have a problem, everytime I try to change the data or modify a Table that is xrefed in Drawing,
using Refedit tool bar, when I want to save the changes, I receive this message:INTERNAL ERROR: dbspace.cpp@1651: ewrongDatabase.
Could anyone tell me what this mean or what I'm doing wrong.
    I'm using ACAD2006.
Any help would be very appreciated.
    Daniel

I think that that error appears when a drawing or an xreffed drawing is corrupted or contains errors/or has been saved in a newer file format.

I would suggest making sure that the drawing and all xreffed drawings are saved to the same file format and then run an audit and/or recover on each dwg and xreffed dwg.
