    Default Are they the same?

I currently have the AutoDesk ADA 2008 and wonder if the 3D VIZ will work as 3Dz MAX?
I will be using the program with a 3D gaming program and the min. requirement is saying use MAX. I will need to upgrade to the 2011 ADA if they won't interchange.
I hope this is clear enough but I wanted to keep it pretty general.
    Thanks

3ds VIZ was discontinued several years ago, even then you could not add something to VIZ to make it 3ds MAX. You can open viz files with 3ds max, but not the other way around. You would in essence need to buy a standalone version of 3ds max / 3ds max design.
