Strange Little Dialog - Say Hello to My Little Friend

I started up Revit 2011 this morning to the attached tiny dialog appearing in the middle of the screen. Just installed Windows 7 this week so I'm wondering if others have seen it too? Latest web update of Revit Architecture (but not Subscription Advantage Pack yet), haven't tried it in RME or RST still have to install those. Posted about this on my blog too.

Any chance you swapped out your video card, too? We were getting that on SOME of our machines, even using Windows XP. Usually--but not always--setting the hardware acceleration down a notch or two made it go away. Never actually figured out what caused it, but at least we could usually convince it to go away.

No problems here, I believe we are all up to date.
Running Win7 64 with RST2011 and RSA2011.

All better! It was my nvidia graphics manager software and an option to Prevent windows from opening off screen. Ryan Duell's comment on my blog post pushed me in the right direction because it made me remember adjusting things after getting the latest driver installed, which Revit doesn't like because it is too new naturally.

Ah, that's what it is. Thanks for posting the solution, Steve - I've had that thing popping up all the time too, though I didn't consider it a friend. I knew that it's been discussed before, but couldn't find the answer when I needed it.

I think this issue is why we stopped installing nView....
