Default Import springs created in Inventor

I have a large number of Inventor assemblies that contain springs. All items have been created in inventor from scratch. When I import the assemblies into Revit 2011 or 2010. The assembly comes over fine except for the spring. It does not appear at all.

Default Re: Import springs created in Inventor

Revit cannot generate a helix, unlike in inventor. I would assume that Revit could not identify the geometry via ADSK exchange format and just decided to omit it in the export.
