    Default Fields and Attributes

I'm having a little trouble building a profile ladder block with fields. Ultimately, the block will be able to be stretched to adjust width and height. The difficult part I'm having is I can't get a field to read an attribute. In the attached drawing, the cyan number in the bottom left is going to drive the rest of the numbers shown. If I change it to 200, the others will adjust. I can do it with plain text, but I can't edit the cyan number easily when the whole thing is made into a block. When I make the cyan number an attribute and make everything into a block, the white fields can't read it.

Any ideas? Your help is much appreciated.

If you want to keep everything as a block, it would be easier if keep all the fields inside attributes.

    See the sample attached.
