    Default Fake dimensions

Is there a way to insert a dimension and modify the dimension to an "incorrect" number? It will let me edit it, but only to text, no numerical values. Can it be exploded or otherwise edited?

    Thanks.

Technically....no.. This is Revit not AutoCAD...

But if you really have to have a dimension...such as in a legend or something that is not attached to the model in anyway.... (wink)... just add an extra character in the Replace With Text field......something small......tiny.....

Nice. I put a period. works great. It is for old details that are not to scale (and never needed to be), but I need to call out a dimension and dont want to have to redraw the whole thing to scale. Thanks.
