Question Assigning materials on an imported family object

    Hey,
I got this family object that was imported from an adsk file. I need to edit the different parts of this object in order to assign materials, textures on them but I can only select the whole object.Whats the solution?
    thanks in advance!

Default Re: Assigning materials on an imported family object

Its my understanding that Revit does not understand "surfaces" of imported CAD geometry. Revit only reads it as imported linework. Exploding does not work with these either.
