swale intersection

Hi all,

I am attempting to use the intersection wizard to intersect 2 swales, both are using the same assembly (the channel assembly). I have created surfaces for both from corridors - no problem there, but to sort out the contours I need to make the swales intersect. Am I approaching this the wrong way in attempting to use the intersection wizard?

In theory this should work. Is the intersection of the two swales on a curve. The intersection doesn't like curves.

Another option is to use a composite surface and past in the two corridor surfaces.

No curves involved - I've used a work around - creating polylines from the corridor, and creating a join. I would have thought the wizard would work, however Im much more the landscape architect than civil engineer - so exactly how to set the various parameters in the wizard is a bit of hit and miss for me. The software is very road specific (at least appears so to me) which is unfortunate - I work much more with simple alignments - ie paths, swales etc .
