Question Dynamic Blocks in Title Blocks

    Hello all,

I have a query that I think can probably be solved using a simpler solution that I am just no aware on.

I have some title blocks, where I have made some nice custom blocks, visabilty of different scale, revisions etc..

So the title block contains several blocks, and this title block is used in several files.

Currently I just import from a template file an empty layout when I need a new layout and off I go.

My problem comes when I was to update my title block, as the project evolves, and in doing so I want it to update all the title blocks in all my drawings files.

How would one go about this? Xref the title block was my first idea but then I cannot get to the options built into my custom blocks in my title block.

What do you guys think, am I missing an obvious trick here?

    Kind Regards

    Tim

If you are using SSM (Sheet Set Manager) and Fields then you shouldn't have any problems. Update your Title Block and insert a Field; then every time you insert this, your block is updated before you place it on the sheet.

SSM has to be active, otherwise you will get this - - - > ########. If you do, re-direct the Field to your SSM Properties. Once you get the hang of this, Sheet Titles and Title Blocks will be a breeze!

SSM controls everything . . . once you make a change it will occur on all sheets, title, etc. A great time saver!

I have been using this for years!

    Good Luck!
