Red face Step by step importing Ram to REvit Structure

We have a ram file already set up and are trying to import to revit. I am on a revit file when I tried the external tools<import from ram. I selected the ram file and this error kept appearing:

    Cannot read mapping file:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Engineering\RAM Structural System Prog\Imperial Mapping.map
Access to the path 'C:\Program Fiels (x86)\Bentley\Engineering\RAM Structural System\Prog\ImperialMapping.map' is denied.

We have downloaded the ram to revit link as well so we know the problem should be local.

I am a brand new user and I will need a step by step direction on how to do it.

    Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure what the issue is, but here's a few possible guesses.
First you need to have a working, licensed copy of Ram & RS on the same workstation
You need to make sure the link you have works with the current version of Ram and Revit.
Next There's also a mapping tool that you need to set up. If Revit can't link the Ram object to a Family location, you'll never get it to work.
    Just some thoughts.

I wonder if your ImperialMapping.map file is marked as Read-Only?

We were able to figure out the problem. It was a problem with the rem revit link that we downloaded, it was not the correct one. We successfully imported ram to revit, had problems with mapping though. Another question, how can you make the composite floor visible in revit when its already been modeled in Ram?

    Thanks for all your responses.

We've used the RAM-Revit link to import a structural model into Revit, with success. I'm now having a problem with updating the model. Changes have been made to the RAM model, and when I re-import to Revit, everything updates except my columns. I haven't made any changes to anything in the Revit model, and I've gone through the update settings. I believe the problem is in the mapping, because the error message I get follows:

"Error reading in section for Revit Column 855481. Verify that section mappings are correct." (I have the same error for every column in the model)

I've gone through my mapping file, and everything points to the right location. I don't understand why this would be a problem during update; it worked correctly during the initial import. Has anyone else seen this problem?
