    Default Etransmit Bug

I recently came across a bug in the e-transmit routine that you might be interested in.

It occurs when on of the drawings you want to send (e.g. A.dwg) is xref'ed into another (e.g. B.dwg) and you try etransmit both at the same time. You will get a warning that A.dwg is already part of the package, so the routine will not add it again. At this point, A.dwg has any overlayed xrefs of its own, they will not be included in the package because B.dwg doesn't see them.

The best solution that i know of is to go back and etransmit A.dwg the file individually.

I have not had that problem yet... I just finished creating about 30 etrasmit files of a project.

I haven't had that problem either. Do you have circular Xrefs?

There are no circular xrefs. I did do a test while explaining the problem to co-worker and discovered that the sequence in which the files are added does matter. If I drag and drop the whole group of drawings, B.dwg might get listed first and then e-transmit blocks the addition of A.dwg and its xrefs. If I manually add A.dwg first, and then B.dwg there's no problem.

Please submit a bug report at Autodesk's website. They ought to know about this problem.
