I repeatedly run into problems getting the ceiling grid to show up. Yesterday, I had forgotten to change the underlay orientation to Reflected Ceiling Plan. Now that I've fixed it, I shouldn't run into this problem again.
But still, why was it so difficult in the first place? I've had problems before with VG settings, Link VG settings, discipline settings, and every single time I missed one of the 20 specific items that must be exact to get the ceiling grid to show up.
I don't need or want a real RCP. What I need is a Mechanical Plan with ceiling grid. RME cannot provide this type of view, so I have to use a Reflected Ceiling Plan for my purposes: just a ceiling grid that I can align my diffusers to, and easily identify whether that room has a lay-in ceiling or not. I want to manipulate and position my diffusers and ductwork in the same view. I don't want to mess with the view range in the RCP, or have it tell me thatAny way to allow ceilings to display on all views; by check box, or a button right next to Thin Lines would be very useful.
