Question How to reference Dimensional Constraints in MText fields?

This is for AutoCAD 2011 & Dimensional Constraints:

I have a series of geometry that is constrained with dimensions. Each dimension appears in my Parameters Manager with a given name, ex: "d1".

I would like to reference this dimension elsewhere in a body of text. Is there a notation for doing this within a normal MText field?

    ie:

    Element 01 Height: <d1>
    Element 02 Height: <d2>
    Element 03 Height: <d3>

And each "d#" would reference the value listed within the Parameters Manager.

    Is this possible? Thanks!

I don’t know if there is a way to reference the parameter in a field, but you can reference the object itself or even the dimension line and then display its measurement. Then if you change the parameter, the constrained geometry would change and the field would read the new data. Would that work?
