    Red face Revit to OBJ?

We need to export a Revit model to OBJ and have the materials/maps carry thru properly to OBJ format.

We have tried exporting FBX, importing/linking into 3dsMaxDesign, and exporting to OBJ but we can't get
the maps to show up on the OBJ model.

    Any help is appreciated.

did you try any of the presets when importing/linking to 3d max? That should be able to transfer the materials. I would also not import any lighting and cameras from revit to 3d max. Better to do that in max instead imo.

    Yes--

We used the Revit preset when exporting FBX for use in Max.

We did not bring Revit's daylight system/sky, cameras or artificial lights into Max.

The problem seems to be trying to get MR Protein 2 and Autodesk Materials to transfer to the OBJ
format out of Max. No luck.
