Material cut from concrete column in elevated column schedule

I have an elevated column schedule w/ concrete columns and when these columns touch slabs or concrete walls the material is removed in the elevated column schedule. Is there a wat to show your column uninterupted. I am providing a jpeg to help understand my question better.

You have to uncut or create openings in the sloabs around your columns.

Revit 2012 has some options in the families that will allow you to setup columns and beams in this fashion.
