    Default BOM for conduit

I am using AutoCAD MEP andRivit with navisworks. I am new with using these ACAD add-ons.

I am adding conduit for a large building drawing and my project manager wants to know how many lineal feet of each type of conduit I have and how many other parts I have like 90's and other fittings.

What is the easiest way to extract this data from the drawing: Dataextraction, schedule, list...? And how do I do it?

I was looking at some youtube tutorial on schedules and tried this, but it gave me an empty schedule with a bunch of question marks.

    Hi JAR-QE,

You were on the right track with the schedule. Click the schedule with question marks and then right-click it and select "Add all property sets". If you are strictly looking for a summary of parts then right-click again and select "Edit Schedule Table Style" and click the box to add quantities on the "Columns" tab.

    Hope this helps,

Some see the glass as half full, others as half empty. As an engineer I see the glass as twice as big as it needs to be. ~Unknown~
