Default Linefeed override in multi-line attribute with field

    Hey all,

I have a multi-line attribute in my title block. It's default value is a field, and I've linked that to a custom drawing property, I'm using it for the project name.

The attribute sits within a box on my title block, and is set to wrap around when the string is long enough, but doesn't always break at a convenient point in the text.

Is there any way to force a linefeed into the middle of a multi-line attribute with a field?

    Thanks!

In this case there's no direct way. The only way I know of to get line-feeds inside fields is to use multiple sources and separate fields. E.g.:

Have 3 (or so) custom properties, place a space in their values by default (very important). Add the value from the 1st one onwards, skip to the next where you'd like a linebreak. Add all 3 (or more) of these as separate fields one after another into the MLAttrib / other text object - separating each with a space.

It's not perfect, but since ADesk has closed their ears to this many-times requested feature I don't think you're in luck any time soon.
