    Default 2010 Panel/Circuit Help

I am trying to get multiple electrical connectors to show which panels they are connected to in a schedule. Not having any luck yet myself.

Just tried this in 2011 and it doesn't look like you can have multiple circuits coming from a single device. Am A missing something here?

did you add the second electrical connector in the family editor already? usually you can name each of the connectors so when you go to power the device it will ask you what connector you want to use. or thats how it was in 2010 haven't tried it in 2011 yet.

I have several connectors in the family and they will connect just fine. The systems are created, but you can not tag the circuits to show the multiple systems nor will it schedule to show that a single device is on multiple systems.

Hmmm that sounds like i would have to do a little investigating by testing out some circuits, unfortunatly i have no such time. I do remember having a hard time drawing multiple homerun arrows off of a device with multiple connectors though. After a few trys I could get it and then use my wire tag on each to display the panel name and circuit number. Sorry for the lack of help on this...

The only way i was able to get this to tag correctly was by creating a group of individual ports, then un-grouping them and tagging them. The nested connectors don't work otherwise the nested family would be great. I am having an issue with getting the group itself to insert correctly and host, but i don't have time today to play with it and I'm thinking its just the type of family I copied to begin with.
