Generating BOM report from Schematic

I am fairly new to AutoCAD Electrical and I am trying to generate a Bill of Materials from my schematic. The drawing is not part of any project, just a stand-alone drawing. I have entered attribute info into all my component blocks. When I go to Projects - Reports - Schematic Report and select Bill of Material from list at left the only radio button choice I have is "Project". The "Active Drawing" radio button is greyed out. Have I missed a step somewhere that is keeping me from being able to select the "Active Drawing" radio button?

You need to add it to your project.
