Default Human Figure help with rotate and stretch

I have two figures in the Sharing Forum that I need help with. The problem is at the joints. For example when I rotate his head, gaps appear at the joint along the body outline. Is there a way to make those ends stretch and fill in the gap created when you rotate. It happens in a few places along the outside of the body. Any ideas?

What about leaving no gaps and using wipeouts under each body part that rotate with it?

I also thought about that but wipeouts and draw order are such a pain and sometimes lose their draw order. I was hoping there would be another solution.
