    Default Editable scales list

I would like to be able to edit the list of standard viewport scales . I have never used a scale of 1:4 but for us 1:5 is standard. I have no use for imperial scales, so I would remove them.

I know that I can type a new scale, but it confuses new users.

That would be AWESOME. We almost always use 200 scale and you can type 1:200 in the combo box but when you click back inside the viewport it comes up with some decimal equivalent and that's no help.

I really like this idea too.

Most of our plans are at 1:50 but occasionally use 1:60, 1:200 and larger for exhibits.

Thumbs up Re: Editable scales list

Awesome idea, I often use 1:5 and 1:25, and sometimes I need scales up to 1:600 for site plans to actually fit on a page I can print, although 1:200 is very common for me.

I always wondered why there wasn't 1:60 scale. That one is very common for me.

Excellent idea! AutoCAD included a bunch of architectural scales but how about the civil scales 1"=10' etc.

    Unhappy Re: Editable scales list

So looking down the list it is apparent that new, dare I say, standard scales are needed. We have a regular need for plotting at 1:5 and 1:25 as some of the other respondents have noted. So anyone out there have any idea how these new scales can be 'fixed' into the pull down windows when in the plotting command window and in the viewport scale window?

Red face Re: Editable scales list

would be a nice option for new users, but I've been typing it in for so long that I never pay attention to that window.

I agree. 1:4 is useless in the metric world. 1:5 is more standard.
